I got into model railroading when I received an N scale train set for my seventh birthday. I have since had two layouts: a temporary layout in my grandpa's garage, and a 6x4 foot layout loosely depicting Everett, WA in 1970, of which the current layout is based on. I periodically write magazine articles for Model Railroad Hobbyist Magazine. I am also the founder of Northland Modelworks. In addition to model railroading, I enjoy rail fanning, robotics, choir, band, video production and graphic design.
